I frequently come into this price chopper at least five times a week right down the road from me. Every time I am there I use self checkout and lately this employee working self checkout has been giving me dirty looks. I am not sure of his name but he has tattoos, glasses, and always works the self checkout at night. On this night of 9/25/17 at 9pm I got my dinner, went to self checkout and proceeded. When I finished I said, "hey would you put in a store card?" In which the employee angrily darts back with "PLEASE!?". It was extremely uncalled for to be responded to back like that from my customer standpoint. I sell shoes for a living and if I ever responded that way to a customer who asked me for a shoe size they would fire me instantly. I am just extremely disgruntled and annoyed by this whole interaction. Otherwise everybody else at the store is always kind. Thank you for your service.

Worked here for 3 months now, best place I’ve worked. It has it quirks but it’s a city environment store so it’s going to be a little smaller. Love my co-workers, love how much I work here. Customers mainly consist of college students and elderly people. 99% of them are very nice and understanding about things. Absolutely agree that it has higher prices but that relates back to my first point. City store. But it’s the closest store to home and I honestly can’t argue with that.

I come into this store specifically to see my favorite employees, I love the atmosphere that each individual employee brings to the table when you get to know them. As I make my rounds, I find out that they released my favorite employee earlier a day or two ago over a simple google review. Shows how poorly this store operates; cares only about money, not to mention the outrageous prices, and low quality perishables (although the seafood is fairly decent).

I am very very unhappy with the price chopper because they charged me higher than what I bought several times! The seafood, which is $3.9, was charged $5. The tomato, which is $1.7, was charged $4.3. Much more than those... I used to come to the custom service to argue about it. They confirmed their mistake, without apologize. Just be careful when you shop there!

Horrible store..... They don't prompt you if you want cash back that they charge you $1 fee until you get your receipt back. Then I had items that were" on sale" but rang in full price. I had 2 little ones with me so I could not go back in for the hassle it would have caused. Big y is better in the sense they already honor the prices and give you the item free. Here they will fight you til death that it was not that item. It's happened every single visit.
